How to Use a Wick Correctly?

1. Select the correct type of wick according to the lamp, kerosene lamp or candle: Check the diameter of the “neck” (the upper part where the wick comes out) to ensure a good fit.

2. Cut the required length according to the height of the container: The wick should reach to the bottom and have a small reserve to absorb the oil well.

Proper ignition: Pull the wick approximately 0.5 cm above the edge, let it absorb and then light it.
